Electric Fly Aug 9, 2003 A perfect day for flying electrics. Flown were everything from giant scale to miniature park flyers.
Below are the planes of Dave Grife from Coldwater, MI. He uses Li Poly cells and gets averages of 20 to 35 minutes per flight. His fleet consists of a Diabolten with An Astro 05. A Hughes racer, Fokker D7 with Aviox motor, and a 27 % scale Extra 300 using a Hacker brushless 35 V at 50 A.

Ron Daniels from Kitchner, Ontario brought his fleet of scale airplanes. Below Chipmunk with Axy 280-10 use 10 CP 1700 cells 11 X8.5 E prop, Hawker Tempest M2 with 10-2400 cell Jeti Phazor 30-3 and 11 x 8.5 APC prop, Hawker Sea Fury has same motor 10 x8 prop 12-1700 cells. No details on the Buzz bomb.
