The Old Fort Flyers SAM 28 hosted another Old Timer flying event attracting 20 pilots and additional crew from states around the Midwest. The flying conditions turned out better than the weatherman’s forecast. The Fort Wayne Flying Circuits field and clubhouse were in top notch condition thanks to many volunteers and excellent leadership. Old friendships were rekindled in the spirit of friendly competition, and appreciation of the time and talent needed to build and fly these great designs from the early days of model aviation.Bob Hartwig Mem Pub June 2017 Sheet 4
